WELCOME TO OUR PRACTICE
Hugh M Campbell started working in Tain and Alness in February 1978, first as an employee of John M MacDonald and later as a partner/sole practitioner. Over this time technology and techniques for eye examination have changed, and we have kept pace with these advances.
We achieved the Investors in People award in February 1998, working as a team to look after our patients, and aiming for continuing personal development for all staff members.
This is an ongoing process, several members of staff have in the last few years successfully completed the Optometric Clinical Assistant Diploma from the East Anglia Polytechnic. Hugh was awarded Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry in December 2000 and his Master of Philosophy research degree in 2003 .
Hugh, along with our associate optometrists Keith Laird and Mary Nicol, takes part in distance learning modules and attends refresher courses to keep abreast of the latest developments in order to provide you, our patients, with the highest quality eyecare and advice.
