Frame Selection

With such a wide choice of frame styles, materials and colours available, choosing a suitable frame may appear to be a daunting task. The frame has to be suitable for the type of lenses that have been recommended for your visual needs. It also must be comfortable, especially if you will be wearing them all day or for several hours at work.

The frames you choose should also suit the shape of your face and facial features. A style of frame, which looks wonderful on one individual, may look awful on another. Spectacle frames are part of your look and image, so allow our trained staff to help you in your selection. Several members of staff took part in a “Colour Me Beautiful” training day, so they can advise you on what does and doesn’t suit you. They also take pride in matching frames to an outfit for a special occasion (Think Mother of the Bride!) and recommend anti reflection lens coatings so there is no reflection of the camera flash in the wedding photographs.

You have more than one style of clothing and more than one “look”, so why not more than one pair of frames? If you have an up to date spectacle prescription, you do not need a full eye examination to have new spectacles made up. So whether you need prescription sunglasses, sports spectacles or simply fancy a change just brings your spectacle prescription in to the practice and we can help you make the right choice.
